Union home minister Amit shah  on Sunday said he has tested positive for coronavirus and with following the advice of doctors he is getting admitted to a hospital.
Shah tweeted in Hindi on his twitter account that:-
"I have undergone a coronavirus test after showing initial symptoms and have tested positive. My health is fine but I am getting admitted to a hospital on the advice of doctors,".
He also requested those who had come in contact with him in the last few days to get tested for coronavirus and isolate themselves.
"A team of doctors, led by AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria, is likely to visit Medanta hospital (in Gurugram) to see Shah for treatment," reported news agency ANI quoting sources.

Meanwhile, sources said that at the Union Cabinet meeting which Shah recently attended, social distancing norms were strictly followed along with wearing of masks.
"There is a strict protocol at PM Modi's residence. Temperature checks, Aarogya Setu checks, no use of internal cars to ferry people are some of the measures being adopted. Most physical meetings are avoided and virtual conferences are preferred instead," they added.
